Our Staff
Daphne W. Urquhart, CPA
After working with a larger firm in the Asheville area beginning in 1986, I started my own practice in January, 1993. The idea behind going solo was to allow me the opportunity to work closely with fewer clients and tailor accounting services to meet each client's needs specifically.
I love to teach whether it be knitting, gardening, youth Bible study, or accounting. One of the main goals of our practice is to help business owners understand how financial decisions impact every area of their business.
Brian Crutchfield
Brian is a 2009 graduate of Appalachian State University's Walker College of Business. He has degrees in Finance & Banking and Risk & Insurance as well as minors in Spanish and Communications. His areas of educational focus are a nice complement to my tax, management, and human resources background.
When he's not at the office, Brian is very likely to be involved in some sort of sports activity either as a participant or spectator.
Maggie & Piper
Here's where fun and accounting actually get to go together. Maggie and Piper are my Pembroke Welsh Corgis. They come to work with me most days and enjoy greeting our visitors ... especially if you give them a treat from their treat bowl on Brian's desk.
